This Is The Kit, the alias of Kate Stables and musical comrades Rozi Plain, Jamie Whitby Coles, Neil Smith and an ever evolving cast of musicians, will be performing a very special intimate gig on 13th March at the incredible - St Marys Arts Centre - a 15th century church.

Performing in a way they have never done before - in the round and in the middle of the room for full surround sound. We are working with John Evans who invented this system for ‘Church of Sound’ a monthly night that was voted Jazz FMs live music night of the year. Many of you will know and recognise John as the head of our sound team, and we are so excited to fuse this incredible sound experience with one of the UK's finest psych folk bands.

This is The Kit are touring their latest album 'Off Off On' in support of the grassroots scene and celebrating the producers, venues and inspirational communities that have helped them achieve such huge success - Smugglers being one of them! We cant wait for you to join us!

"TITK took the very concept of timelessness to a whole new sensory experience." - Shindig Magazine

" of the most original and musically gifted artists of today." - The Independent

"...confronting anxiety, mortality and environmental collapse in songs of characteristically jagged beauty." - NME

On top of that it is an unexpected delight to be welcoming Mathieu Boogaerts as the special guest joining is for the show. His eighth album 'en Anglais' came out the day the UK left the EU with the single 'Am I crazy?'. Arresting, offbeat and utterly charming, Boogaerts dissolves the edges of the day.
